Kingdom Of Alexandria's Central Square

As a follow-up to our previous article on Alexandria, we are able to take a look at some screenshots of the town's
central square, with a little information. And yes, Final Fantasy IX just keeps getting better and better by each update...

Alexandria's main square reminds us a bit of Final Fantasy VII's Kalm, but only this time the grand, European-style housing omits a warm glow with their red bricks and roofing rather than the cold colours of Final Fantasy VII.

1 - These are Alexandria's shops with the four highlighted being a
hat shop (bottom left), a flower shop (bottom-right), a weapon shop (top-left) and a restaurant and inn (top right).
2 - This is where VIVI did some rope-jumping to win an item - Final Fantasy IX will
have many mini-games.
3 - This is the ticket booth where VIVI can buy tickets for the Prima Vista shows.
4 - This is the entrance to Alexandria's castle (where Garnet resides).
5 - When VIVI searched around here, a exclamation mark appeared above his head indicating
that he hand come across something - players will have to explore a great deal to get the most out of Final Fantasy IX.
6 - This is where a letter was hidden in the door.
7 - Searching around in this old lady's house will resulted in VIVI discovering 9 gil - probably
her life's savings. :)
8 - If VIVI speaks to the person here, he will be told about the location of three cards, suggesting
that the much-acclaimed card game in Final Fantasy VIII will be making a come-back.
