27th - Not actually a
new Character...
Let this be a lesson to you all; do not believe everything you read in the internet! Geez, some people must be bored to make up a character... then again, I shouldn't be so gullable :/ August
26th - A New Character..?
It's probably just another Final Fantasy 8 rumour floating around on the web, but supposedly there's a new Character and he's called 'Kiko'...and he's... a Moogle!! He's smaller than Cait Sith, and apart from that, there is no more information on him. View a little drawing of him here for now... August
25th - The Origins of Squall's Scar...
A few new images have been released, including Squall at Garden; this is where Squall is supposed to have got the scar on his forehead from... so it looks like I'm going to have to update a few things in my Story. Also, it has been revealed that Squall's world is called 'The Dukedom of Balamb', so therefore Garden is in fact called 'Balamb Garden', and that apparently, trains form an integeral part of 'Balamb', centering around 'Balamb Station'. A new rendered image of Rinoa has been released, and she's looking as gorgeous as ever... ;) August
19th - The SeeD logo revealed
A Japanese video games magazine, Jump, has revealed the SeeD logo; question is, is it evil? I would say so. View the logo for yourself here and learn more about the SeeD then click here. August
12th - A new Alliance: The SeeD
Robert's Final Fantasy 7 and 8 website has joined forces with the Final Fantasy 8 news site - The SeeD. What does this mean? Not a lot, just that if you want to see news updated everyday concerning what's happening on the Final Fantasy 8 front; from new websites to wish lists, then visit The SeeD, but visit me for a more in-depth alternative in other aspects. 6th - Ifrit in new Guardian Force flavour!
I found some pictures of Ifrit, the old favourite from Final Fantasy 7, in his new outfit for Final Fantasy 8. Although I can't make much of the screenshots, they are pretty much yellow and red, and yes! They look darn impressive! I'm just waiting for Bahamut now... Take a look here. August
5th - A Square Conspiracy?
There's nothing like a good conspiracy theory to satisfy the Americans (well, ok, not just the Americans). So I was intrigued to find that there is in fact a 'Square Conspiracy' (Square being the makers behind Final Fantasy, duh). The facts are said to be confirmed by world-wide gaming magazines, and Square are remaining tight lipped regarding this 'conspiracy'. But then again, if you look at the characters, you would perhaps notice that they look similar to Soul Edge's? This is because they supposedly 'poached' artists from Namco... Truth or Fiction? 4th - The new look Chocobo!
 Here it is! The Final Fantasy 8 Chocobo! A Final Fantasy game wouldn't be the same without them, and for all its 'mature' new look, they are still in. As you can see, it's not that different to Final Fantasy VII's version, but what is different is that it looks more realistic, if they can be, as is most of the game. It certainly looks less cartoony than previous versions, which I think is a good thing... but it still looks cute though :) Question is, what do all the Japs think to all this 'moving from Japanese anime look, to a better image to cater for western markets' ? Then again, who cares? :) August
2nd - Some wallpaper
