My Mind:A truly beautiful and memorable Eyes On Me variation. I always got the impression that this was Rinoa's theme. 3.0MB 5/5
The Mission:WOW! I love this so much! Yet another superb piece of action music in FFVIII. This one has a very original flavour and is very fast moving. Most people will recognise it as the music played in the train section but it is also played in other sections. (NB - Wings of Honneamise fans: Note the suspicious similarity between this track and the track when Matty is escaping the assasin? Hmmm...) 3.4MB 5/5
Martial Law:The annoying Timber music. This really reminded me of the China Town music from Parasite Eve... take from that what you will. If you liked the afore-mentioned 'tune' then you'll like this. 3.6MB 2/5
Cactus Jack:A rather uninspiring and disapointing Galbadian anthem from Uematsu-san. Still a worthy piece of music for what it was designed for but just ever-so-slightly bland. 1.4MB 2/5
Only A Plank Between One And Perdition:Blinkin' long title but a superb and exciting piece of action music. 2.3MB 4.5/5
SUCCESSION OF WITCHES:WOW. This will remain one of the all-time classic themes in the history of Final Fantasy. An essential download. 3.1MB 5/5
Galbadia Garden:Well... not my cuppa 'cha' but I'm sure some people liked this Galbadian Garden theme. I personally thought it was annoying and a tad repetetive. 3.4MB 2.5/5
Unrest:At first his track appears to be annoying, but if you give it a chance and listen to the melody thouroughly (sp?) then you will grow to like it. A good theme for anger/sadness - I got the impression this was Seifer's theme. 2.5MB 3.5/5
Under Her Control:When I first saw this title I thought it would be a witch theme (For reasons that importers will know about), but it isn't. In actual fact it is the music played in Deiling City. I would have liked this more but I was stuck so long in Deiling City in the Japanese version (Around two hours if I recall correctly... ugh) that the music ended up driving me insane. In hindsight though, a good piece here. 3.3MB 3.5/5
The Stage Is Set:Yet another excellent piece of action music. This one is one of the best ones and is played in a particular section involving Balamb Garden. 3.5MB 3.5/5
A Sacrifice:A witch theme to beat the incredible "Succession of Witches"? Oh yes my friend. This is "WOW" multiplied by infinity. Loads of amazing melodies wrapped into one exquisite whole... I better say it again - I love you Uematsu-san. 3.3MB 5/5
FITHOS LUSEC WECOS VINOSEC:Another amazing witch theme (I just can't get enough of these!) - played during those awesome FMV sequences in the Edea assasination mission in Deiling City. 4.3MB 5/5
Intruders:This is one of my particular favourites and is a great piece of humourous 'sneaky' music. I love it. 2.4MB 4/5
Premonition:One of the best boss themes ever. This is played during the battles with Edea, along with other battles. An exciting and magical melody. 4.4MB 4.5/5
Wounded:Played during a rather cruel FMV sequence involving Edea. Nice use of the organ and it goes excellently with the FMV. 800K 3.5/5
Fragments Of Memories:This is just beautiful and proves that the quality of the melody is far more important than if it sounds like an orchestra or not. Played in the Laguna scenario when you first meet the enchanting and mysterious Elone. 3.1MB 5/5
Jailed:Another annoying piece of music here... it wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't as repetetive as it unfortunately is. Played when the team are in the Sand Prison. 3.6MB 2.5/5
Rivals:There's just something about this track that I love. I can't quite describe it... maybe it's because it sounds quite cinematic and understatedly (Is there such a word? If there isn't then basically I mean that it is understated, while being dramatic... er...) dramatic. 3.3MB 4/5
Ami:A really gorgeous piece of piano music. Played during the section where Squall finds out what is happening in those strange dreams... 4.4MB 4.5/5
